Tennessee's Sixth Congressional District

Tennessee's 6th Congressional District stretches from Springfield in Robertson County, east to Dale Hollow Lake in Clay County to Cookeville in Putnam County. From Hendersonville, Gallatin and Old Hickory Lake in the north to Petersburg in Southern Marshall County.

From the bustling suburbs around Nashville to the rural charm of small towns, the 6th district is the heart of Middle Tennes see and the fastest growing area of the state. Wonderful natural resources, lakes and farms make this a unique and diverse place to live. I have seen many changes over the thirty years I have lived here and I am proud to have been a part of building this special place we call home.

I hope you will use this section as a resource for information, help with voting and news from around the district. If you have an item you think should be listed, let me know and please check back often for updates.

Primary Issues

  • Spending and the Expansion of Government - Federal government spending has gotten out of control and as a result we are saddling our children and future generations with unsustainable amounts of debt.
  • Healthcare - The U.S healthcare system is the best in the world, and it is vital that we not only continue to keep it the best but work to increase access to it so every American can receive the care they need.
  • Energy Independence & Our Environment - The taxes and radical environmental policies of the Democratic leadership are breaking the backs of working families and the businesses that employee them.
