"Stop Fraud First," asks Americans to sign the petition calling upon Congress to look for solutions that will improve the nation's health care system without implementing a government run system that will limit choice and harm quality of care.

 

 

MURFREESBORO, TN - Rutherford County GOP Chairman Lou Ann Zelenik today encouraged Tennesseans to join with the county party in supporting a new initiative by the Center for Health Transformation to request that Congress address fraud and waste within Medicare and Medicaid before moving forward with Healthcare legislation approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The initiative, "Stop Fraud First," asks Americans to sign the petition calling upon Congress to look for solutions that will improve the nation's health care system without implementing a government run system that will limit choice and harm quality of care.

"I have signed the petition to Congress and ask all Tennesseans to join the Rutherford County Republican Party in this effort," Zelenik said. "This week, Congressman Bart Gordon will reluctantly hold meetings to explain his votes in support of government run health care to the citizens of Middle Tennessee. As we debate the issues surrounding health care, I hope Congressman Gordon will take a moment to tell us what he plans to do to address the fraud and waste within our existing programs before he foists government control of our health choices on the American people."
