Zelenik Launches Radio Ad Campaign

Lou Ann's first commercials are on the air.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Sixth District Congressional Candidate Lou Ann Zelenik today began the first advertising run of the 2010 campaign with radio ads introducing herself to the voters of Middle Tennessee.

In the two advertisements, Zelenik briefly gives her background and provides some answers as to why she is running against 25-year incumbent Congressman Bart Gordon.

"I want the people of the Sixth District to know they have a true alternative in the 2010 election," Zelenik said. "For too long we have given Bart Gordon a free pass to vote with the liberal leadership in Congress and face little or no opposition for his misguided policies. His free pass ends now. I intend to give Tennesseans a clear and accurate accounting of Gordon's record while presenting a positive agenda grounded in Tennessee's conservative views. With 80% of Congressman Gordon's contributions coming from PAC's and special interests, he will have a sizeable war chest to fund his campaign so we must begin now to make sure Tennesseans know they can have a Congressman who truly represents their values."

  • Healthcare - The U.S healthcare system is the best in the world, and it is vital that we not only continue to keep it the best but work to increase access to it so every American can receive the care they need.
  • Energy Independence & Our Environment - The taxes and radical environmental policies of the Democratic leadership are breaking the backs of working families and the businesses that employee them.
